It's too confusing for me...I'm just lookin' for the best MH bulbs for my 75G Reef tank.

Really with 150W HQI you don't have the luxary IMO of moving up to higher K bulbs because you loose intensity when doing so and really higher K bulb not needed with supplementation. Best to stick with 10K range.

I kinda thought I had to stay with the same size bulb...not a problem, but what is the best bulb?

Unfortunately its never that cut and dry. Best is purely subjective not objective.

While I generally don't put alot of stock in PAR numbers but because 150W your probably better off sticking with one the is pretty high. I don't know what ballast is actually in your unit. If not electronic it's probably a M81 ( but will probably have to open up the ballast case and see what's in it). I personally have had pretty good experience with the AB 10K with 150W HQI and did a pretty good job with most corals but at that wattage I haven't played around with many different bulbs to give an answer based on experience.
