I need more flow in my tank. There is alot of build up on the sand bed.

I have 3 minijet and 1 maxi900 powerheads in the tank. I have a mag9 for my sump return.

The tank is a 58 (36x18x21)

I want some good flow for an SPS tank.

I want to remove tose powerheads and add a closed loop.

I dont know what equipment to get. I want alot of flow but not alot of velocity that will knock over my corals and fish.

Any ideas?

you can add an above tank CLS like mine. take a look at my site, there are a couple pics of it. i wil be updating in a week or two when i get both sides running. this is the easiest way i know of without drilling. the pics i have have the mag 12 halfway in the water to cut down on noise. it does not have to be in the water at all, just the input. on the other side i have a quiet one with just the input and two outputs in the water. it is about as clean as you are going to get without drilling, or increasing your overflow size.

I would drill and add 2 returns and a drain on hte bottom, and have the pump under the tank
