I know heat changes the chemistry of saltwater, and can make it harmfull to aquatic life. Was wondering if anyone knew at what temp. this takes place. We store our spare water in the garauge, which is very warm, being in the desert. Prior to a water change, the water is brought in to cool off. Just checked the temp, at 9pm it is at 95 deg.
Any input is appreciated, thanks. Bill

I know that temps near boiling can cause changes but I dont know bout 95, I would try to keep it cooler if possible, FWIW

I would stick a chiller in it if I could, but it would never shut off. The water is stored in a 200 gal. tank, wife objects to bringing it in the house.
Park it in the living room?
