Has anyone had any experience with deliberately dividing their anemones? I feel pretty comfortable growing them and I'm thinking about dividing them and giving them away.

Nems belong to a class of animals that do not have well differentiated cells. I have heard that they can be run in a blender and will reassemble into many smaller animals.

I am thinking that if you can do well growing nems then having a line of tank raised cloned nems might be a real benefit to the hobby.

I am really looking for someone who has cloned a nem.

I think cloning is the wrong term....

With most nems reproduction is simply multiplication by division.

They usually split off a a baby nem every few months. or more.
