Happy Father's Day Sunday!

To All those lucky enough to be a father, and All who step up and ACT like a Father! Ooooooops.....and HAPPY SUNDAY TO ALL!

A repeat weather wise of yesterday...mid to upper 70's, sunny, and WINDY! Coffee is up, and food....not yet.

Got a lot on the list, and most of it will involve breaking a sweat in the yard. But sure even THAT will be accomplished in a relaxing fashion.

Hope a whole lot of really nice stuff awaits All,

SORRY for the seemingly rushed greetings......but 'lead offs', especially Sunday mornings re NO PLACE for dilly dally'ing......people get run over, and Y'All know we value Our safety records on here. ;)

Nothing 'Father's Day' per say on the note pad for around here.....,.,pretty typical summer Sunday yard work. Of course there'll be a BBQ, but no gatherings AS FAR AS I KNOW.
Doug shared a picture in M'Ville this morning, and IF any comparable images show up round here today I will also share.
I did mention to the Mrs. a time or 2 this past week due to the hecticness of it that, 'I could go for a beer.'. SELDOM do I actually do that....say it on occasion to let folks round me know 'how my day was', but seldom is there beer in the home. But you know.....2 days off here, perhaps I might go buy a 6-pack. Which any more than 1 beer will put me to sleep, so the other 5 will go into cold storage for another day.

There are much needed chores today, but they will be done in a leisurely manner befitting Father's Day.(y)

NEXT.....

Mornin Hack. Yes, Happy Father's Day to all! Cool here, might get over 70F and very sunny & a perfect breeze. Workin and not expecting kids later as they are all working. A quiet evening on the gazebo is in store I think. Likely a stop at the beer store on the way home & some burgers after.

Have a great day.

Good mawnin’, Hack, and all of TRT!

I didn’t know you felt that way about beer. I’ll keep that in mind.

Happy Father’s Day, Hack, and dads of all kinds! Croods people like Jeff who is a dad to lots of critters in his house!

I couldn’t find mention of coffee and your post,Hack, so I have lots going. Let’s have a huge breakfast of buttermilk pancakes, eggs over easy easy, and whatever breakfast meat someone wants to fix.

it’s only 61 outside right now and going to the low 80s. Positively delicious!

Lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone!

Cath, Vinnie....TOP OF THE MORNING! And HAPPY FATHER'S DAY Vinnie! Cath had me a wee distracted down in M'Ville.....thought my computer had a 'glitch'....

THANKS for the bountiful breakfast Cath.....still too early to go look in the food department yet to see what We'll offer.
And this weather IS delightful, though not conducive to going in the pool at the moment.

Forgot how long it was and Kristine and I didn’t make it to end.
THAT fits Us/ME to the tee Pal.....that's why I watch sooooo many movies over and over and over.....got to pick up on all I miss from nodding off. :ROFLMAO:

Happy Fathers Day and Good Morning TRTeeeeeeeeeeeeee :) I believe I may have to join in the cold beer later, after work. Havent drank beer in about 4 years, but I do cook with Guinness so that always takes 2 bottles ;)
Nice morning out, heading to 72 or so, just about perfect. Lady Friend says shes doing a lot better today so I imagine packing and sorting are top priorities after work.
Gotta run get me day started and open the store, TTYL

HOWDY Doug! 69F on it's way to 75'ish latter.....BREEZY, but sunny.

Managed to stop and get said 6-pack of Miller Lite......let THAT get nice n COLD, and find just the right moment latter to share a bottle of that with my lips. ;)

I don't 'not drink', I just don't get around to it any more. A glass of Scotch, with how much effort is involved, may find it's way into my hand once every few weeks or so'ish......or months if I really feel lazy......get up, go get just the right glass, and I have quite a collection.....remember which freezer the ice is in, and since I buy the bags, have to break it up into just the right sizes......then since I enjoy mine with a 'splash', I have to go all the way over to the other side of the kitchen and let the water run till it's cold.....then get just the right amount of cold water into the glass, over the ice, and all while watching my Scotch to tell when EVERYTHING is just right.....MAN, then to put everything back, make my way to wherever I will be enjoying this, and PLANS for the hour or so it will take me to drink that wee glass.......Ooooooph, you can see why I don't do THAT often.
Thus my like for a cold beer....ONE! "How was your day dear....need a glass of milk, or a beer?"......'Ya know.....I think it was a beer week'....."Here Ya go Dear.". Now see how much easier that was?;)

You think THAT was the long way around....,should have heard Me and Nate talking on our drive this morning......bounced between sea food, quantum physics, dinning out, subs, the 2nd law of thermodynamics, yard work.......

Afternoon all , and happy Faader’s Day to those that qualify.

Of course my kids furry and feathered , forgot to get me at least a card today🤔🤷🏻‍♂️🥴. Will go on the assumption ( yeah, I know it’s true, heheh) that they like having me around as their “dad” . I remind them all the time that I am 100% the reason all of em are here. Ok, a few of em Blyth had to, or knuckled under to ok them coming or staying here. King the GSD🤔, he did not have a vote or otay given to be here, I played my “a GSD is available to adopt/rescue, and I did not have a GSD here at the time” card. ( Still thinking about getting a GSD pup from a breeder sorta nearby , this fall. Also have a maybe 4 month old GSD on Sis’s town’s FB group page,,, I told her to get me /ask for more pics and background. Told myself the next GSD here was gonna be a full one GSD breeder type dog(from a pup) so unless there is something super special I see in the FB pup, and/or I get put together with being able to check it out if not already spoken for, I’m cool with waiting until the GSD breeder has pups available this fall.

Did some “work” on the sun conure’s cage this morning, installed rare earth magnets on the 4 bowl doors, for a better “locking” condition compared to the “it’s on me to make sure the lil tabs are over the door to lock them” previous setup. Even added small knobs to open the lil doors.
While I was on a magnet kick, I fabbed up something to keep /hold Molly the macaw’s cage door open “so far” so she can’t move the door closer to the wall light switch so she can flip the switch while chewing on the light switch’s handle 😡😩. While I was in the bird room early this morning , I had to get outa my chair , scold Molly ( like that did anything 🙄) and swing the door away from the switch prob 8-9 times while I was there.( hence the magnet /fab job going straight to the top of the list). The huge cage needs to be where it’s at, no real orientation possible in the room other than where it’s is now.
Kids or fids,, always seem to do baby-proofing around here, heheh.

Next heat wave is a’comin’ , rumor of 99 degrees on Weds,,, ugggh.
Enuf blabbering,,,

Hope everyone is having a great day 👍🏼

that sounds like a great evening, Rick!

Doug - Did your GF get the apartment/house she wanted?

Jeff - Your birds certainly are a handful of nonsense! But they’re fun while they’re doing that, right? Ummmm mebbe not when they could get into serious trouble like a hooman kid putting a table knife in a socket.😫😲

Going with a couple girlfriends to hear the Spartanburg Community Band concert around 5:30. It’s an outdoor concert, and someone in our group bringing pizza.

That was from a lawn mower attack! Brutal beasts! Nah, just a stone/wood kicked up and nailed me.....didn't know it drew evidence till Hack pointed it out. No whoop, but an excuse for a picture.....not worthy of M'Ville as your's, still looking.
Got the grill started, so in n out,

Evening all,

Hack, was wondering WTH was going on with the bloodletting,,,🤔🤷🏻‍♂️ “Walk it off boy, “ 😂😂.
Head/face wounds bleed extra,,, use it to yer advantage for pity points , heheh.

Sis asked about borrowing my “collection” of dawg clippers( one being the one mom/dad had eons ago when we were kids , and had poodles. I did not rank inheriting them until 5-6 yrs ago (and they not having dogs the last 10-12 yrs.) In the meantime I acquired 4-5 different clippers via auctions etc.
Told her Ihad been planning to bath Max( long haired Doxie) and trim him up a bit ( long hair getting in the way outside 🙄, plus his coat was dragging the ground at some parts of his bod) them I would bring What I got her for her to use on my Pyrdoodle( a mat making machine dawg)
That of course “made”
Me choose to bathe Max,,, all done ( sans trimming up coat and tend to what small mats he has). Used the “why didn’t I get this YEARs ago” dog fur blower to rid Max of “wet”( blower’s job is not really to “dry”, but more to blow water from the coat/skin, which it excels at👍🏼🤯) . Also heard from Scruffy’s “Aunt Barb “( groomer friend that trims Scruff’s nails since he hates me for days if I did it🤷🏻‍♂️, he
LOVES seeing her) that a blower is THE best thing to have . Towels and hair dyers don’t come close.
So,, she said to use the blower before bathing/grooming to “blow” the undercoat ( less to deal with during bathing/grooming) so I tried it with King the GSD on the back deck…🤯🤯🤯
Poor King looked like he was coated in talcum powder,, dander and dry skin made for a lot of “stuff” hiding under his fur. Of course bathtub bath for King tomorrow, will see how much of King will be left in the tub then compared to Prev times.

Way too much yammering about dawgs… 😑🫤.

Carry on TRTrs

Jen does all our grooming here......She's a retired 'LOT of STUFF', one being from a grooming career she ran......slowing WAY DOWN now with Her ailments, including me getting free grooming......thus all my long hair pictures as late.
But the summer months with all our dogs love for the pool, sadly Jen is tagged with the blow drying and brushing.......think this may need to be the year that Hack takes over. Oliver and Chloe being shorter haired, they tend to dry on their own, but Rose Bud Hannah.....She needs a deep blow dry and brushing.
