SOoooooo......Good morning and HAPPY WEDNESDAY/HUMP DAY TO ALL!
Taking Friday off to help the Sams move, so actually I'm well ahead of the curve for a change. (y)

40's heading into the 50's with a chance of rain again.......of well, it ain't snow.

Coffee and CIBMC at the ready, and whatever 'grab n go Hack finds on the way in to the creek.

Cath, CO, in this case means ( Certificate of Occupancy) ......an inspector stops by, and confirms what 'they think is important or relevant' has been established, and grants you permission to move into your new half a million dollar home. In this area's case they deem a rain gutter, top soil and grass seed as highly important over say front steps. We'll see how everyone's 'hoop jumping' skills are.

Peace and lollipops,
Hack

Mornin Hack. A good day to all who follow.
Muffins and coffee as is usually the case.

Almost the exact same forecast here Hack. They are talking about some sun on the weekend & mid 60s.

I think it was Vinnie who asked for some Larry pics with his new shell. He is just getting out and about now so it must be hardened. I made a quick video of feeding time. The water always has that cloudy look to it as he constantly pushes sand around or is burying something and digging something else up. I have a small cat litter scoop I use to find all the treasure when I clean the tank. Sometimes he buries a half eaten meal & I wanna get that stuff out.

Rick, Larry.....good morning. As many times as I've been at sea food restaurants, and stared at the 'lobster tanks' and wondered... .....now I know the answer.(y) THEY DO NEED BUTTER!:ROFLMAO:😁
But I see you've found some of my golf balls last seen beneath a splash.

He hates the golf balls. I will line them up in the middle of the tank & they are promptly moved. If I really catch him on a bad day He will carry them up over his cave & hide them behind it. He is the aquatic version of Grumpy Cat.

I was a bit disappointed. Sometimes he comes over to the side of the tank and taps his claw on the glass..."Hey, back up. Move along!"

I am going to move him over to the 125 in the near future. He grew more than I thought now that I have seen him out and about. He is about 3" longer and his claws are much wider. The 125 will have the advantage of having a sump so I can get a lot of that macro into a refugium.

Morning everyone.

Listened to an interesting show on the way to work. I may see two people during the day and everyone else is across town. It causes stress when no when even knows if you are alive at work.

Chartering a deep sea boat and another that goes on lake erie (maybe 40 ft deep). Fishing and food break through a lot of barriers.

Good morning everyone,
Another beautiful day here in south Louisiana, they start in sunny. I think they say it’s gonna get overcast.

Thanks for the update on Larry Rick. Is it really cool? Definitely do better in the 125 as he gets larger. I’ve had a few lobsters over the years, one was in Hawaiian with no pinchers, and the other one was a reddish purple reef type lobster. The red lobster killed. One of my angelfish that cost me 50 bucks back in the day. Got rid of that lobster pretty quick.

My reef tank has been taken over by aptasia. And they gotten so out of hand, the worst I’ve ever had in all the years of the hobby. But all the fish real Happy, and doing good. I have to deal with it at some point.
The weekend supposed to be rainy, but between all three days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday there’s a less than an inch of rain. So we might be able to get out on the lake and see some of the million dollar boats taking part in the tickle 200 this weekend.
Have a Great hump day

My first house had to have one tiny tree. Didn't matter that the faucets were made of plastic.

Afternoon all,
Back from eye exam appt and picking out a couple frames for da new glasses . While I was aware, eye guy mentioned onset cataracts ( would just mean insure pays for LASIK’ for the “need” vs a choice to ditch glasses) and the puff of air thing/test , pressure was higher than last visit ,, glaucoma/age related ,,, he will check/compare next yrs visit .
Wore glasses since 2nd grade,, eye stuff not a new thing here.

new seat for the new to me Deere garden tractor , mulling over swapping the new one with the current one on the big Deere, since same seat, and big Deere seat has a lil split/crease in it, and I see it every time to climb on,,, so the switch oughta ease my brain, heheh.

Gave Murphy a bath later last night ,,, let’s say his outside duty/doodies were less than normal/standard and some did not leave his bod 🙄😖. Nice n poofy pup now, still hoping he stays straight fur’d and not morph into curly/corded type poodle fur, like others I’ve seen . ( Think Olde English dog look, compared to curly puppy clip poodle -like)

Cool but sunny currently ,, word is after mebbe frost type temps overnight , it’ll go to the 70’s for a daily average soon.

Hope everyone is having a great day 👍🏼

My PhD buddy at work got to hear about my plan for tomorrow. I am just some dorky Nuclear Engineer around a bunch of rocket scientists.

The plan is to cut some metal parts, then paint them yellow.

Hey Gang! Home a smidgen early today.....rains saw to that. NOT hard, but a consistent nuisance.
A real fur ball of a nightmare playing out at the Sams' build......contractor not getting er done, and actually hasn't done ANYTHING this week. Sams are fit to be tied.
Looks like the Hacks will be stepping in to get this to the finish line......and the boss gave me off till Monday to help make it happen.

I am far from an expert carpenter, but a fairly proficient 'Jack of All Trades'. Come tomorrow the sleeves go up, and step building, siding doing, rails attached, painting and cleaning, ect. NO PRESSURE .....we have till Friday. Even if the CO doesn't come though, we'll make sure the 'move' does, and get everything into their new home.

Fresh HOT cup of joe for the initial defrost, and then a HOT shower not too far into the future.....bet Hack feels the same way.

Good evening guys! Sure wish I had been able to take a peek at this during the day so I didn’t wind up at this point and couldn’t comment along the way. Lots of cool stuff going on around here today: Larry, the lobster, Perry going out on the boat for some fun, Hack, et al rolling up their sleeves to get The Sams in their “what should be completed by now” so they cane make it their home, Jeff debating on eye treatment issues, Vinnie is disgusted with aiptasia, and Doug is worn out and hungry. Did you get all of that right? I know I left out a lot.

I’m pooped out 🥱so I’m going to wish everybody a groovy evening and a good nights rest.

You did great Cath! I schlumped it, and just vented myself.

Nobody knows what's going on, and the Kids are just about at an 'emotional shutdown' stage, so letting them chill. Gonna be an early night here so we're all ready, and available when we hear from them in the morning.

Squirt did mention talking to Jen, that She thinks 'this person here, that person there, you over there, and them over there.....BUT I WANT DADDY here with me at the house in case anyone starts anything.' "Break in case of war." (y)

Yeah, that 'early night' sounds like it's just about here.....TOOTLES!
