I noticed a lot of Green Hair Algae in the upper part area of both overflows, I am doing a water change tomorrow, should I manually clean this area out or just leave it to eventually clear up.

I would say that what you can out during you water change.

Pull out all you can by hand,and get a bottle brush and scrub it good and do the WC.

I have noticed a lot of hair algae builds up in those locations. I think it is due to the collection of things the algae feeds off of, not to mention it gets a lot of light. Is there any way to prevent this?
