Good Morning! :)

Busy day ahead...going to IU to help Troy move all his stuff into an apartment, then bringing the rest of his stuff home, along with him driving up for the weekend.

Trevor's play was great last night! He was Haimen in Antigone. Very well produced and acted. Tonight I film it.

Have a good day, everyone!

Morning everyone! Happy Friday!

Cath - nope.. we got hit yesterday with a tornado. It landed a mile from my house. It took out a couple apts in an apt complex. (Well, took off the roofs.) Took out the garage of a ladies house who has lived here in Lawrence all her life. (Plus it deposited a neighbors car in her yard on its side). Check out the batten down the hatches thread in margarittaville for some pics of the damage.

But, I am alive..thanks for asking. :)

Happy Friday everyone! Sorry I haven't been around as much..It's springtime and gardening season here in MN so I decided to try my luck at actually selling plants and garden things. I'll be at the farmers market on the weekends. It should be fun......and maybe even profitable ;).

Hope everyone is doing great!

Mornin' All!
been up fer a while,,,hadda run to the store ,after the health club , to get some baby aspirin fer the ol dog doxie,Oscar,
seems he got into a "scuffle"with the other, younger male,"Buster"
i was downstairs, the wife was just going to sleep b4 working midnites,,and i heard a major dog fight going on,,,i started yelling at them , while coming upstairs,,,i found the styro from some left-over Greek food(gyro's ,YUM ) half out of the garbage can,,,
seems one or both of them decided they'd like to clean the "plate"
both are mini doxies, so this is a feat in itself..both got into fighting it seems,,,Oscar took the brunt of it,,,he was holding his front paw up , so i checked him out,,no response to touching it,no swelling , limb temp was even etc. (geez, i sound like i know a med. person:rolleyes: ) found that he had a tear/bite mark on the secondary pad of his foot,(by the dew claw,,,) well by now the wife is up , due to the noise, and we proceeded to clean and wrap Oscar up,with the bandage arsenal we had here,,,the wife's gonna bring mo' better bandages home this am,,,(the doc's at work , got her all worked up , making her think , mebbe tendon damage, ) but it think he's just got a cut/bite to the pad, plus the bandage is still on this AM,,so that's a plus!
Oscar Myron's(Meyer(sp)'member a weiner dog LOL)about 13-14 yrs old,,,
b4 we got him about 8 yrs ago, he used to be a tough ol',roam the neighborhood dog,,they used to have to scour the 'hood to find him,,i think the way he acts , he got a few live and non live meals on the side:eek:
the ol boy is now white muzzled,,(ya Shirley, like me , his "Dad" ;) )and has about half his choppers, but i think he held his own the best he could against the young'un,,
sorry for the long mornin' post,,,but you know how i get,,:D
well back to my tank work,,,(some vacation):)

Good morning TRT. Have a great day, and an even better weekend. We were planning on heading to Springfield to visit the family for Mothers Day. However, with another round of storms moving in for the weekend, and the only neighbor that I trust to fire up the generator and switch over the tanks, we decided that it would be safer if we stayed home. We will have to postpone it for a fair weather weekend.

We use to go every Saturday morning and pick up a few veggies and fruit and they made these really great coconut cookies--------oh well! must stay focus on glucose monitoring and weight!! See the doc today and I think he is going to be quite impressed with my results!!:D

Friday! Yahoo!

This has been the strangest week...I don't think I've been sure what day it was any day this week although you can bet I'm not confused about today, LOL ;)

Johnny, good for you on sticking with it!

I hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend coming up.

Wow! Jerel interesting reading even if my mind does not absorb alot of it!

I notice my scroll coral and Trumpet Coral open at night only for the most part. The scroll coral polyps open a little bit during the day but not much.

I noticed some of my pods are getting quite large as far as pods go as I see exo-skeletons whipping by in the water current at times!

I only feed homemade "mush" every two or three days and not very much and everything seems to do just fine in my tank!

I hope what I am doing is fine and really try to understand what will make my tank healthy and happy!;)
