Cool on the Sasha's Head Start,,,,,Mrs Smith said:Good afternoon! Been up quite awhile - just chatting on the phone with my best friend who just got back from a long trip to Paraguay. Now, I have to clean, as my sister is coming in this evening for a visit - and give Sasha another bath. How do puppies get so stinky so fast?? Sigh. She's signed up for "puppy head start" now, so even though we've gotten a good start on "sit" and "come," she'll get some good instruction and more socialization out of it.
Hey Jeremy,
How 'bout cookies tomorrow?
Danielle
as a part time dog trainer,,,just want to let you know socialization is fine , you want that,,,
you can do socialization at the park , outside the grocery store,,,anywhere people are.
you DO want to shy away from "group" training sessions if you can.
a lot of times ,there are too many dogs, and not enuf training.
my cousin and myself only do "one on one" training,,,it's faster and gets the job done,,,
no chance for , as we call it "butt sniffing/playtime " lessons.
GREAT! now i gotta edit myself! (cath said it too!)
Sasha will pay attention to the trainer (and you later) if it's one on one,,,otherwise attention will be spent on the other people/dogs in class...
just wannna make it easier on ya,,,
