So I was checking out some of the Indo Exporter sites...and nearly crapped myself when suddenly I was seeing my photography all over this company's site! Anyone have any suggestions about how to go about convincing a company in another country to stop false advertising with my imagery?

I sent them a couple emails...simply requesting that they remove my photos.

here's the site:

Dont have any suggestions but i do have a question.

Do you have any links with this company or any mutual "friends" with links to this company???

I agree with Wiskey as far as nothing you can do most likely but maybe work them for some corals.......hopefully they will be as nice as the ones they pictured:D

you should find out how they obtained them, if they paid someone else for the images than i think youve got something. if they got them from a site than check the rules on the site. i would definately contact a lawyer for clarifacation but they would probably only have to remove the images as opposed to providing you with compensation

well, im not a legal action-type...but I would like them to get pics of their own livestock...not mine, eh? Certainly anyone looking to buy their product will think those pictures are from their stock...and that is just not the case. Thanks for the advice though.

Yep I would definately be curious as to how they got the shots. Start putting your signature over the images but don't think there is much you can do about the shots they already have.
