While perusing the local Big Lots yesterday I ran across a Wardley water hardness tester that also tests PPM of calcium in saltwater. Seems simple enough, although I have not had time to play with it yet. They had a few kits for $2.50 each. If you are looking it may be worth a shot to see if they have them at other stores. That's it, just a quick FYI...
