Dear group:

As I know I told some of you, I am taking down my 75 gallon sps reef. To that end I have a variety of things to sell, trade and later to give away. As the weekend progresses I will know better what I have. However, to start:

a large beautiful peaceful red sea sailfin tang - this guy needs a good sized home - my 125 is now too crowded with so much hard coral. $65

2 medium rose anemone $125

1 large rose anemone $150 - this one will split any day!

Several large acro frag - it grows very fast - with a green/brown stem with blue tips - growns under VHO, PC and MH frags range from $5 to $25

Green bali slimer acro - grows well under VHO, PC and MH frags range from $5 to $15

Brown and orange monitpora - same story grows well under VHO, PC and MH. Depending on what I do I could have some very large frags.

If you are interested please send me an email. I think I will be ready for visitors on Saturday late afternoon and Sunday morning/afternoon.

[email protected]

Thanks,
Connie

Connie, I am interested in anything that will grow under VHO lighting. I could come up Sunday morning if you want. I especially like the idea of the $5 frag stuff. It will go good in my tanks at school.

brittle star $5
dragon goby $7
green chromis free
ornate wrasse - $50

Hey Connie,

I am feeling more secure about my tank situation and would like to go ahead with my accusition (s). I would like to add your Green Chromis to my list, along with some live sand. Most (all?) of my bug population in my refugium was killed during my overhall that took longer than expected. A bit of your macro would be appreciated too. I wish I could take your sailfin but I think it would less happy in my tank than yours... smaller and lots of LR too.

a new aquarium canopy, several power tools, some shelves, curtains, knobs on all of the kitchen cabinets, and a new rug later, i am home and without time to come meet you. good luck on unloading the rest of the stuff though!

I am interested in most everything you have listed (esp the free stuff) :)

Actually, I am probably not interested in the more expensive things such as the anemones. I figure they may require more care, water quality and or expertise than I currently have to offer. I can provide a good home to the fish and coral. I do not want them all but would like to see what you have left for sale.

I have an appointment in Portland this Thursday and could see them in the afternoon if not then maybe next weekend.

Here is an updated list of what I have left:
large sailfin tang $65
dragon wrasse $7
ornate wrasse $50
1 medium rose anemone. $125
Very large acro colony green/brown stems with blue tips - $25
the two large beautiful pieces of live rock $2
brittle star however, I think he is going to go with the Live Rock

75 gallon seaclear system II acrylic tank. This is an interestnig tank. The space in the back that is intended for Bio-balls and skimmer I turned into a nice sump/refugium and used a HOT skimmer. You could also drill it for a sump or a closed loop system. It includes a wood MH canopy and stand. They are not oak but stained in that color. It has about 3 inches of live sand. $350

I can send photos if yu are interested, please send me your email address.

A VHO canopy that will fit a 75 or a 55. This one is also made of wood and is oak colored, however, this one needs a little work. I removed the fans and it left some holds on the side. It just needs covers for the fans. $35

I have sold all of the frags that were produced from my conversion However, I still have a lot that are in my main tank. Most of them are good sized. I will be happy to sell some after I return from my business trips. My fish are acting a little stressed and I really want to keep my hands out of there for a few days.

The live sand from the 30 gallon is all gone and I pretty much done thinning my macro.

Thanks!

i just wanted to add that the sailfin for sale here is gorgeous!

it was the first thing i noticed when walking in her house.
hands down, one of the healthiest i have ever seen.
an experienced tang owner has got to see it.
i would jump on these fish sales myself had i someplace to put 'em.

Connie knows her fish for sure. the Wrassses are also top notch specimens and the sand is chock full of goodies. well worth a trip.

then there are those saddleback clowns that aren't for sale..... i got dibs on them if they ever get cut from the team!!!!

 again...that sailfin is a fat, spectacular specimen.
