I have a 46 bow that has been running for about 3 weeks now. I have 3 different zooanthid colonies, some ricordea shrooms, and a huge chunk (7 to 9 lbs) of rock fully covered in neon stars. I got 45 lbs of fully cured rock out of a tank that was set up for a long time, and have a 3 to 4 inch deep live sand bed. I recently was offered a frogspawn and bubble coral for next to nothing. I realize I need plenty of space for these two, and can provide that. My question is, with these, can I add them to such a new tank, or does mine need more time to mature? I can register no Ammonia or Nitrates on my test kits, and keep the SG about 1.023. I have a 192w Jalli with a 96w 10k and a 96w actinic, and also have a 110w Jalli with a 55w 50/50 and a 55w 10k. I'm guessing I should have enough lighting for the corals, I'm just not sure of the age of the tank. Thanks for any help

If you used LR and sand from a running tank and you have no detectable ammonia or nitrite you should be OK.
FWIW Euphyllids like the frogspawn and bubble will need decent calcium and alk levels for good growth. While they dont require Metal Halide I would certainly give them as much light as possible.
A 46 Bow full of LArge Polyp Stony corals such as Frogspawn, anchor/hammer/bubble, etc ought to look really awesome after a while :)

My plan is to have a couple different frogspawns, a hammer, and a bubble coral among the rocks, with a brain or plate on the sand. I did not use sand from an existing tank, just the rock. as far as fish, I have a watchman goby (who's keeping pods in check), neon pseudochromis, pair of perculas, and a bicolor angel. I wanted to add another fish, like a wrasse, but I think I'm pushing it right now. As far as calcium, I'm getting that tested tommorrow. My PH is around 8.4, temp at 80, skimmer on a timer to run during the day when we're not home.
