I had problems with my irc client (not the browser java-based one) until I put seahorse.on.ca.xnet.org as the server... then I had no problems connecting (for those using independent clients).
Hope that helps somebody.

Newbie question, do you have to seed your DSB with livesand or will it become livesand on its own after time. Also will the liverock help seed the sandbed, ifso what kind of critters will the liverock have?

And you are close by to! wahoo!

Your sand will become live over time, but to help speed it up, it helps if friends give you a scoop of their sand to seed yours.
