Afternoon all,
Just realized I had not checked in yet today,,, oops.
Early am grub store run then picked pole barn duty as the plan of the day . Ran sisâs Deere mower with dye in the engine oil,,, later found prob where the leak is coming from ,, one of the heads. Checked the interweb, and of course there were a few vids on how to do the job. Might try the lazy way out first and check the head bolt torque and see if that does the trick. Wonât know until I try it .
Took most of the rest of the lawn crew out, used some . First mow with the zero turn in the fenced in dawg yard,, makes dawgs tend to liquid fertilizer spots unevenly đ, so now everything is leveled out, haha. Used the big Deere to move the industrial sized oxy/acetylene tanks from pole barn to shop, after they came back from getting borrowed out. Cleaned up/out the âtack roomâ( read: used motor oil storage and other stuff) , and a bit of snowthrower put away for the season and mental noting what else needs to come out for summer duty wake up and oil changes etc.sigh,,,,
On a good note, got word that foster Doxie Rudy has humanâs interested in adopting him, need to contact them and answer questions they might have about him, above what they already know about him,,, fingers crossed.
Speaking of multiple carbs, I had a â70 Datsun 240Z sound â77,, and wondered if the carbs were set properly . Luckily my dad had a childhood buddy that was a import mech and drag racer ,,, and took the car to his place and he showed me how âeasyâ( in this case) it was to adjust carbs. Each carb had a âshut offâ button,,, block a carb and adjust the other correctly,, then vice versa/repeat. I donât wanna say it ran so much better , but rumorđđ€« has it that it went 120 that nite .
On to the remaining daylight ,,
Hope everyone is having a great dayđđŒ
