Good Morning TRT!:wavey:

Coffee is on and breakfast is served! Muffins and Bacon today (gluten free for me of course).

58 degrees when I left the house. Drove 20 miles and it was 41 when I walked into the office. We are expecting freezing rain within the hour.

Stay safe everyone and have a great day!

Good mawnin', Eric, George, and all of TRT!

Thanks for the coffee, breakfast and nanners, guys.

Eric - Brrrrr on the dropping temps like that! Hope you don't wind up in a mess like what happened to Daniel.

George - We're having similar weather here. Nearly 70º by Sunday, and then down to 48º on Tues. Yeh, I know that's mild for my northern-most TRT friends.

Happy birthday, Ray!

Wheeee I'm off on Monday-Thursday (Monday is a comp day for working the following weekend).

Lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone.

Morning Cath, Eric, George and everyone:
After 50 # of rock salt, my driveway (which is on a hill ) is still a huge sheet of ice. There's just enough snow to give it a little grip though. I have to make sure there are no cars coming down the street so I don't slide into someone before venturing down.
Happy birthday Ray
Everyone who is off enjoy your time :)

Off to work

Morning everyone. Nice cool 20 here with maybe a wisp of snow. None of it made it over the Rockies.

Got a half day at work then a company-wide meeting.

Better go finish the topping for the cheesecake.

Good morning Eric, George, Cath, PV and all to come.
Thanks for all the birthday wishes. Next stop, the birthday thread. I understand the cake is a sight to be seen.
No freezing rain here Eric. 61 now. Warm all weekend. Then cooling a bit for Christmas. Could drive 20 minutes for a white Christmas. The sand at the local beaches is extremely white. But no chance for the real deal here.
If you have too much bacon George, you could pass some this way. Though to be fair, Mary Ann made me bacon and eggs for breakfast, so I have already had a first serving.
Congrats on the four days off for Christmas week Cath.
Be careful with the car sledding PV. Body work isn't cheap. (glad the other girl's insurance paid).
Late getting Christmas cards done - so that's the project of the morning. Mary Ann took my birthday off. Run a few errands. Birthday dinner out tonight and then back home for cake and ice cream. Then MIL's huge family Christmas party tomorrow.
Y'all have a fantastic Friday and a great weekend!

Good FRIDAY morning all of TRT - HAPPY BIRTHDAY RAY!!!! Many happy returns of the day! Getting things ready to shut down for a week here at work, lots of the bosses and leads are out today. I'm off all next week, yippee! But I have a ton of company coming in for Christmas dinner - - it will be busy.

Seems like we're expecting the same weather pattern you are Cath - - very warm this weekend, then BOOM we get a winter blast! Luckily it looks nice for Christmas - -

I hope everyone has a TERRIFIC Friday and weekend. I will try and check in next week.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Good Morning, Eric, George, Cath, photovet, Perry, Ray, HHC & Everybody! :)

Same kind of weather here, Cath & George. Not going to be a White Christmas.

Tahoe got new shoes yesterday. Good news is I got a great deal on tires. Bad news is it needed rear brakes and a windshield washer pump. Still rolling after 200,000 miles so it's worth spending a little $$ on.

Happy Birthday, Ray!

Could be a new fad: "Car sledding"! Be careful.

Enjoy that week off , HHC!

I wish I could send you some of the nearly twelve inches I had to shovel when I got home from work! It is a heavy snow too. Weather man said it had one inch of water in every five inches of snow...double the ten to one ratio we normally see here.

We have eighteen inches on the ground now and another four to six forecasted tomorrow night into Saturday! I'm surprised you haven't seen much on your side!
Wow! That's blizzard conditions, Daniel! Keep warm and safe.

Big Buck is doing his 'Christmas shopping', sniffing the air for the scent of a 'daily deal doe'. :D

Have a Fabulous Friday!

Morning Ray,

Hope your backing went well.

Am I the only one that has zero motivation at work today?
Not much here, but I start my new job soon. After today, I have one day left in my current position.

Morning all :wavey:
Renaming today's mornin' title in my locale, to Foggy Friday  since a dense fog moved in here around 6 this morning.

The good/bad about the current temps is that a lot of the snow is melting,,the cruddy part of it is I gotta make sure the stuff that melts finds the proper route from important parts like buildings etc.

Temps are said to drop back down to freezing over the weekend, and luckily I don't have any plans for being on the roads for a few days (yeah, that'll prob change :()

Still want to get the Silverado into the shop here for some overdue maint. and go-overs.Will now prob happen when the freeze level temps come back.

Thinking about making some more coffee,, anyone need some?

Hope everyone has a great day! :wavey:

Afternoon:

Dick: That's another nice looking buck!
Eric : Good luck on that new job
Ray: A white sand beach sounds awesome right now. I'm not jealous of southerners in summer, but I sure am now
Dave: How are those horse feet doing?

We both made it down the driveway without any "car sledding", now just waiting for the snowstorm Sunday
