ok..I was looking in my tank, & i saw this worm(?) It was @ least 2 inches long-white, with black spots and stripes-anyone ever seen anything like it? It looked like it was coming out of a hole-very weird looking little fellow-can't get a picture of it, its in a corner. Let me know, im freaked out!

I have one of those too, and also have no idea what it is.
The weird thing is it kinda folds into itself when it retracts... pretty bizarre.
I've only seen mine eating detritus off the surrounding live rock, so I think it's harmless, but I'm sure somebody else can provide a better explanation.
I find new stuff all the time as my tank matures... that's a lot of the fun of reefing.

We have some of them too. They are harmless. I can't remember what they are called though. I think they may be a species of peanut worm.

yes I did-thanks! I have all the goodies placed so I can keep an eye on them-I am waiting for everything to open up so i can see all the pretty colors i am so exited!!!
