So I made a bet with my parents that if i lose 20 pounds they would buy me a reef tank. Neither of us knew what we were getting into. Well after tons of research to keep me motivated, My tank was ordered today. I got the jbj 28 gallon hqi nano. I looked long and hard at the red sea max, but i decided it was just too expensive. besides, its only a a few gallons difference for 350 dollars more. I can't wait for it to arrive so I can get started. This thread will hopefully turn into my build thread.

I want to house sps and lps corals, along with a clam or two. Maybe some brightly colored polyps. I'm also tempted to try getting a clownfish to pair up with an anemone once i get a little bit more experience under my belt.
