Top of the morning, and HAPPY FRIDAY to All! Kick off of one of the biggest holidays round these parts.....opening of the flood gates for the shore communities. Sanity goes out the window, and the 'entitled' rule!
Great time to try out your 'apocalypse shelters', and hunker down in place for a few months.
BUT.....on the other side of the coin we get to put our winter shoes away and let flop flops rule!(y)

Coffee is on the counter, and..........something Mc Donald'y on the way in I think?

40F heading to 70 and periods of sun/clouds.

Hope the word 'fantastic' is heard often around the Training Table today,

Used my McDonalds app and put down two steak McGriddles. Work is barely starting, I need a nap and probably gained five pounds. Gotta work towards healthier alternatives.

Long Friday at work ahead but it will finally be the weekend. Enjoy the day everyone!

Good morning,

It’s a beautiful miring and the weekend looks to be the same. Lower humidity for a few days. No rain in forecast.
I finally finish the fence and gate, 10 feet wide is a good enough 12 would’ve been a whole lot better.
Yesterday was a crazy day, we had Presley for the day, but then early had to pick up Cooper because he had diarrhea. So the day was kinda hectic.
Beautiful weather would be great to be out on the lake, but no way I go out on a holiday weekend. So I’ll probably clean my bass boat up so I can put it for sale. Then once I sold it it made me get a 12 x 30 carport beside the house park in the boat under.
Have a great day and start to the memorial day weekend.

Good afternoon, all!

Sorry to be so late in posting today. I barely had time to put a checkmark for each persons post to indicate that I read it.

Hack, how does your Saturday look for you? I bet your boss has some ideas about groovy things for you to do. 🙄🙄

Vinnie, sorry to hear that Cooper had the runs yesterday. That’s no fun for anybody, and that you’re feeling pretty ragged. I hope he’s feeling better today.
How much are you going to ask for your fishing boat? Who knows, maybe the TRT S&R team might need it.

Jeff, thanks for your explanation about Nash’s coloring. He sure is a handsome puppy. Tell me again the name of the dog that’s your profile photo.

Going to hear some live music at Little River Roasting tonight. Sometimes events are outside and sometimes inside with the huge bags of coffee beans from all over the world. Is it pretty neat place.

Keep everything groovy. Hopefully I’ll post again when I get home.

Once again Cath leads us into the evening with grooviness, and sunshine! ENJOY!

A slow day on the creek.......well at least as far as work goes. The Acme was slammed by 7:30a when I popped in to get some refreshments for work.....SHOEBEES R HERE!!!!!! Every road meandering East is slammed.....the road in front of our boatyard is a grid lock as one direction off of the island has NO TOLLS, so of course EVERYONE TAKES THAT DIRECTION heading back inland. Can't leave for lunches this time of the year.....takes almost your whole lunch break just getting somewhere.....no time to eat. "Life is good....life is good....life is good........"

Hot dogs for dinner, and bet dollars to doughnuts this will be repeated often over this coming weekend.

Yeah Cath, that dollar will be safe in your' pocket.....of course I'mm headed to insanity tomorrow......the boss wouldn't know what to do if'n I weren't.

Time to go see what our evening holds,

Evening all,
Cath , the GSD in my profile pic is Biz(Bismarck) and fella before King . Lost him to cancer . Biz and King looked alike somewhat , both mostly black with King having brown on his legs, Biz having white.

Errand run this morning, got a haircut and combo’s being in the area to meet with the Doxie rescue rep to hand over ex foster Rudy’s paperwork. Come to find out that Rudy’s adopters learned they are expecting a lil human ( and Rudy won’t make a good match for a baby) . They agreed to keep Rudy until another adopter is found for him. As much as Rudy having “baggage”, I still can’t help feel bad for him.

When it rains it pours, found out there is a car show next weekend at a American Legion not 2-3 miles from me , and another car show a lil further the weekend after ( sorta close to Sis’s so will trailer the Merc. and drive to the show from there )

Oldest and middle nephew having a belated/combined birthday shindig at a smokehouse joint up north . Menu online looks tasty .

Hope everyone had a great day👍🏼

I’m thinking 20 to 22 thousand go from around there. It’s five years old and to buy it new today it would be 32 plus all the fees.
