my emerald crab used to go into my goby and shrimps hole on a regular basis. you could hear the shrimp snapping away and the crab would always come out pincing his claws into the hole. : /

but thats just my experience. Maybe yours will be fine, how big is the system? tank/fuge.

so no worries on space then!! . just see if they can play nice, and if not, time out in the 10 lol.
