Ok I just learned my eel is a pickier eater than I am. I froze my eels food for the first time this week. I then thaw some out tonight for him and the little sob won't go near it for the life of him. He swims as far away as he possabley can from it. O well just half to go with non frozen seafood for him from now on. But on a lighter side my 2 newest additions decided they would like it. My sebae clown took it from the bambo rod and put it in the anemone.:) It was so amuzing to watch. But I am also starting to fear for my new clowns safety considering my perc keeps hovering ever so close almost like he's stalking to take over the anemone.

Yeah, that lil guy loved that anemone... Seemed like the pair wasn't too interested at the time... Are they now showing interest in it?
what kind of eel?

- starve that bad boy and I bet you he'll switch. Give it a good week or two, they can handle it. And the smellier the food the better!
Ditto on Beach Bum's post,,,
they don't have to/want to eat every day or two/three.
my two morays i have , when they act interested in the food i give to the other fish, i feed the eels then,,,,
every other day, weekly , or so no biggie on these fish,,,
they wait to eat, do not search until they are hungry.
they can do OK ,without that much food/often.
like i told Buzz Hog, Hunger will win!
don't worry, you ain't gonna starve it,,,,,:)
Yeah, hunger will win......

My Volitan is soo **** spoiled now, I fed him before, and he sat there with his mouth open and I slid a silverside into his mouth, moved my hand away, and he gently closed his mouth and swallowed the fish.... I was in shock.... was like"What the heck is he doing with his mouth open??"....

Then I went to show my wife, and he attacked the food like normal... I'm gonna need to get this on video...

did i NOT tell you?:D ;) :funny:
Well buzz yes its taken interest in the anemone but it has been holding its distance for some reason. As for feeding the animals in my tank the only food given daily is the formula one frozen food. The eel is only fed twice a week .
