Early one Friday morning

.....There was me awake.

Hey Folks, and welcome to the good end of the week.....HAPPY FRIDAY!
Nice HOT fresh 'motivational juice' for any in need.....and I NEED!

Nothing in particular about being up early, other than the body is asking for more sleep and the brain is in denial.

A partly cloudy day scratching it's way to near 50 with a goodly breeze.

PLANS? Didn't see any......but only on my 2nd cup.
Peace and itching to have fun,
Hack

Good morning all .

It’s 46 here right now , going to het 60 for the high today. Tomorrow will be 90% chance of rain.

No big plans for today. Presley will get off the bus here again. Yesterday she was cracking me up, so smart for 5 years old.

Good morning Pal!
We got 44F at the moment......sunny, BUT feels 'damp' with all the rain we had yesterday seemingly climbing back up to where it came from. NOT exactly fog, or mist, but something in those ball parks?

Kids do have a way of making us smile and/or laugh......even if it's just on the inside. (y) When the Grandbabies come to visit, the 'teacher' inside Jen always pops up......they don't know it, but they are ALWAYS learning something. To them they're playing and having fun.

Before Cath reprimands me, I did pick up some McMuffins on the way to dropping Hack off at the Sams' home build.

Late morning check-in, Hack, Vinnie, and all of TRT!

Thanks for the coffee, Hack. Good to see you got enough egg McMuffins for all the troops at the TRT training table. The burning question is, how did Nate enjoy the movie last night? And how was the drive to pick them back up. I bet there was a deep fog out there.

Vinnie, I get a kick out of you taking care of Presley in the afternoons. It sounds like a joy for both of you!

Welp, I’m off to my exercise class, and we’re going to practice getting up off the floor. It’s always a good idea to have that skill well-established.

Slim pickins here this morning. Maybe Moore will show up later.

Lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone!

Cath, kids know things I didn’t even think about at her age.
the first thing she asked me was about the iPod she broke. She asked if nana knew. I informed her yes. Then she ask what I told nana what happened and I told her I broke it. She wanted to know if Nana was mad and I said yes. She told me you tell nana it’s ok and that she can’t hurt your feelings.
But during our walk she mentioned me and Nana are getting old and that it a sad we all have to die. Now at five years old to have an understanding that all things die blows me away.

I dropped Nate off, but he wanted to 'lone it'........so Jen and I picked him up after the movie.....Drizzly and dark, but no fog.
He liked the movie, and for Him and me, that's 'chatty'. It was an anime movie, and there was 2 versions of it being shown.....1-dubbed to English, and another in Japanese with sub titles. We went for the sub titled one. Nate's actually getting a grasp of the Japanese language from his reading, and watching this anime stuff.

Went and turned into Friday afternoon round here! So Hotdogs w/sauerkraut and Mac n Cheese to get us recharged.
BREEZY and 48F, under considerably none sunny skies.

Unless something more practical shows up Hack and I will be hitting the firing lines this afternoon. He got turned loose as the building inspectors were dropping in this afternoon.

With this wind out here we can practice our sideways shooting skills.

Good afternoon, guys!

Vinnie, I like the way you described your granddaddy and granddaughter conversation about that iPod and so on. It was kind of charming, in a way.

Hack - That is so cool that date is learning some Japanese by reading the anime books and Japanese graphic novels.
What are his hours for the work that he does?

Doug, I hope you had a good day off today with an element of fun as part of it.

Jeff, how did the avian vet visit go today? Is this the first time they’ve had their full beauty parlor treatment?

Not sure I don’t know what I’ll have for supper tonight with a baked potato, and then go from there.

Grooviness for everyone tonight!

HiYa Cath, and any others venturing out into the cold dark gloom of night.

Hack's hrs. this week Cath has been 9-3p.......He's doing another side gig this weekend at the general contractor's actual house, and would like Him there at 8a. OHHHhhhhh.....how the Mighty Snooze Monster has fallen. Little Fella just went to bed as well. 😁

Had Strawberry Shortcake for dinner round here.....the Bisquick variety as opposed to the 'desert type'. And the dogs seem to have inherited the rest of the Beef stew, and the Cat.....she's just plumb ticked. Ran out of her canned food tonight, so only has dry till the morning on the way home from dropping Nate off. Beware of a Cat on the prowl in the wee hours with an ax to grind.

What goes good with a baked potato............ANYTHING!;) So you have an easy field to hoe!

Peace,
Hack

Hiya, Hack!

Whew! Nature has turned over his usual teen activities quickly to being a team with a job or two. That’s impressive. No wonder he goes to bed early. I bet he is pooped somewhere in there. He has to do his school work, but I’m sure that gets worked in there somehow. You and Jen sure have raised a fine young man.👏👏
Bisquick strawberry shortcake sounds terrific. Got to make that, was it Jen?

I bet your dog is being short order out of that beef stew. Too bad your cat ran out of wet cat food.

You are right about a baked potato could go with just about anything. But I changed my mind and made a meal of leftovers with brown rice, mixed vegetables, almonds, diced up apple, and raisins. Heat that up with a little bit of cinnamon, and I don’t know what you have.😂

Sending thoughts of grooviness to everyone tonight!

THIS is what I was raised calling 'Strawberry Short Cake', minus that whipped cream stuff. Just in a bowl with milk and sugar. .....,Jen went out to diner with me early on in our journey together and ordered 'Strawberry Short Cake' for Her desert....,,THAT typical desert version showed up at our table, and I WAS CLUELESS!

Just walked past Vlad Hack's room, and smells like a 'gym'. Ben Gay!!!!! Well probably Icey/Hot, but will always be Ben Gay in my mind.
He's a strapping young Man no doubt about it.....,but He's full of blisters, bruises, and aches n pains. Welcome to THE WORLD of the working man!

Hack - That’s a great story about you and Jen and your courting days, and the kind of strawberry shortcake you got at diner. I truly think your version of strawberry shortcakes looks far better, and most definitely more substantial.

Brahahaha! Nate and his new-found job and aches and pains to go along with it! You sure did such a good example for him for that kind of hard work.

Doug, holy cow your prices are a lot higher over there! I sure do hope you can find a less expensive way to get Furgee spayed. I didn’t know that you had to wait till a dog was a year old.
