I agree with Future. Get a bigger tank, or if you can't, don't get a dwarf angel. I made the mistake of getting a tang in a 40g breeder and took him back so I wouldnt risk any problems after finding out about their swimming habits on this site. You have two clowns and two firefish right? in a 30 gallon, I would say you are maxed out without a sump. Without a sump, if you want to add fish, I would say lose one of the clowns or lose one of the firefish. Then add one fish. But NOT something like a dwarf angel. Something like a gramma, blenny, gobie, etc. Something small that would produce a similar waste volume to the firefish or clown.

If you are going to go with a 55g, get a 75. The only difference is that the 75 will be deeper front to back. (18inches rather than 12in) It makes stocking, aquascaping, and managing the tank much easier. Furthermore, the cost to operate a 55g and a 75g is about the same. Both require 48in of lighting, both are as deep (top to bottom) and use about the same amount of flow to push 4 feet of water, many skimmers will handle both volumes equally well. And you can get a reef-ready 75g tank easier than a 55g.

Marineland, All-glass, etc. Most of the big commercial companies make decent tanks that have the option to be drilled with an overflow. If you want extra clear glass, it will be substantially more expensive but I believe marineland also has those options. My suggestion would be to go to your LFS and look around. Most good reef stores keep at least a few pre drilled tanks around, and if they don't have any, they can recommend a reliable brand, and can order you a tank from their suppliers

Actually, a lot of the brands are all the same... aqueon, all-glass, oceanic, kent, coralife and a few others are owned by Central Garden and Pet

Marineland, Instant Ocean, Tetra are owned by Spectum Brands... who also owns Spectrcide, Rayovac, and Black&Decker.

Unless you plan on up grading real soon, I'd think no. Sorry.

Unless you just filled up the new tank and was waiting for it to cycle, I would say to pass on the angel for now.

four fish are really the maximum I would have in that tank. I would be happier with 3-ish. This is why folks often focus on inverts and corals for small tanks.

Yeah, I agree with Doc. You could do a feather duster once the tank gets established. Cleaner Shrimp are very active, and sexy shrimp are very fun to watch(so I've heard). Pom Pom Crab, Decorator Crab, Yellow Sea Cucumber, an urchin of some type are all cool inverts to add. As for corals, It is up to you if you want Softies, SPS, LPS, or a mixed reef(I think that's what it's called). When you have decided let us know. I'd be happy to give you advice on some good easy corals, or some of the more difficult corals. :)

I have a 30 gallon reef tank and I was wondering what the best dwarf angel is for me. I definitely want on in my tank and the ones I heard are good to have are the coral beauty, flame angel, and pygmy cherub angel. So far I have two ocellaris clowns and two firefish gobies. PLEASE HELP
I am surprised no one has said; "YOU CAN NOT have a dwarf angel in a 30 gal." They may still chime in. I have kept Coral Beauties in as small as a 10 gal. (with only one other fish), a 14 gal., a 25 gal. and a 55 gal. successfully. Every Beauty I have had was peaceful. Now, they will defend themselves with tail slapping if bothered but I never had one annoy any coral with the exception of an occasional nip out of curiosity.
