what duration of lighting is presently being run on your tanks and what types of lighting are you running I have a 125 gal with 2 175watt mh 20,000k and 2 vho super atenic and wanted to get an idea what light durations others are running does anyone suggest splitting the time between the lights

for my tank.. until i started tryign to get the algae under control, caused by my over feeding.

8 am actinic blue on
9 am actini white on
11 am 10k daylight on
5 pm 10 daylight off
7 pm actinic white off
8 pm actinic blue off

i've seen several people with mh's that do somethign like this:
8:00 am actinic's on
9:00 am first mh on
9:30 am second mh on
6:30 pm first mh off
7:00 pm second mh off
8:00 pm actinics off
