Last weekend 1 week short of my 8 week term at OIMB I got a call on at 2 am.
My girlfriend is on the other end crying, "all of the water drianed out of the tank!!!"

It turns out the Rena XP3 had a slow drip where the chord met the housing and she tried to see what was wrong with it she opened it up w/o turniung it off and it went everywhere.
I feaked out and woke up my friend and made him drive me home at 230 to eugene which is a 2 hr drive.

I got there and she got it 90 % full with new tap made de chlorinated salt water till she ran out of salt.

I cleaned out the skimmer and hooked up a second one Im done with that filter! I only want to do HOB skimmers w/ no other filtration

Everything survived and is still alive since last Sunday!!!:thumbup:
