a buddy of mine had added two clowns to his 55 gallon a couple weeks ago. The other day he bought a little crab. the crab's body is about an inch in diamiter and it was going after the clowns. Im not sure what kind of crab it is, shouuld the crab go?

I would ditch the crab. Even if it can't catch the clowns now, it will probably keep growing and it will just be a matter of time.

I had a crab that ate about 5 fish before I figured out it was him! Fortunately I lost him when I unfortunately electrecuted my tank by dropping a light in it one day (ouch). Anyway - the crab bit the dust - tell your friend to get rid of it (just not the same way I did . . ha ha ha).
