i got a bunch of Socks from air cast, according to their website, they are made of cotton polyester and lycra, they look exactly like the ones that come in the phosban container for the holding the media, anyone know if they are reef safe?????

I wan't to use them as a media bag for Activated carbon

i would think that you are fine. i do not see how these could be any worse than anything else for holding media.

Sweet..... i wanted to run some carbon for a couple of days, and am unable to make it to the lfs, i broke my foot at work on monday, and it is hard to get around still.....

I made a bunch of changes to my system including remouving my refugium, when i romouved my bed in my fugium, i noticed staining on the glass and rubble that looked like Rust, i figure the rust is a bad sign and i should be running some activated carbon incase there is some toxins...

i am gonna do a water change tomorrow and test all my levels, all my live stock seems happy, and my lps and my zoas look huge for some reason.
