In my 40 gallon, I currently have a blue damsel, four stripe damsel, and domino damsel, none of which are aggressive. I also have a sergeant major damsel who is about 4 inches, not aggressive, but is active. And a bicolor pseudochromis, who is very territorial and quite aggressive. Is there any way of getting a yellow watchman goby, pistol shrimp pairing to work in this tank? The pseudo has killed ornamental shrimp in the past, but I figured the burrow may protect the pistol. What do you all think?:fish:
Thanks.
The damsels are all less than an inch except the sergeant. The pseudo is an inch and a half. CUC is at a good count and filtration is substantial. Neglecting the "maximum bio load", will these be compatible.
they are that size for now. damsels grow quickly because they prefer to be in small areas. they will however become more and more aggressive as they get older and any other fish in the system will become the first victims.
Thank you all for the input. Is it preferred that I add the shrimp first or the goby? And should I pre-dig a home for them and place them in there for protection purposes?
