I need you help for those who used a chiller to keep your reef tanks cool, can you tell us what do you keep the tem in your tank at?Did the humidity go down in the room that you keep your tank in ? And do you still used fans? This info will help a lot of us who are thinking about a chiller . RGibson

i use a chiller on my 125g. i have a controller for temp. that uses seasonal variations, but the highest it gets is 80.

i still run the fans in the hood all year round. helps keep the temp down so the chiller does not have to work as hard.

humidy in the room will go up if a tank is in the room. i do not notice it in my room, but it is a really big room. here in NC the humidy outside is significantly higher than it is in the house. i actually liked it when my tank was in a smaller room back in GA. it help keep the room from drying out completely by the AC.

i have a chiller running on my 60g at a temp of 78. It used to be just a chiller which had to work pretty much all the time, but a few months ago i installed a couple fans on the back of the canopy. Since then the chiller does not work nearly as often.
