I have a friend who is offering to sell me his 1/5 hp jbj Arctica chiller for cheap. It's for my biocube 29 hqi reef, so I really only need like 1/15 hp. But, I know in the future I may get a bigger tank, and the price he's offering me is way cheaper than a brand new 1/15 hp. Is the chiller too big for my tank (they say it's for aquariums up to 180 gallons). The 1/5 hp chiller needs a minimum of 480 gph, but my pump is only 280 gph. How big are 480 gph pumps, because I need to make sure it will fit in my aquarium...

Thanks!

That chiller is going for 250-200 used so if its a lot cheaper then that then I'd buy it for future use. But it may be too big, a 480gph pump is pretty large and may not fit in the tank. Also if it chills the tank too quicly the chiller may cycle on and off too often.
