Got a buddy wanting to get a tank built, anyone know where he can go to get a good price, he wants a 125-150g acrylic with curved corners on the front.

You arent going to get curved corners from glasscages.

Using cheap with curved corners with a bit of an oxymoron... it's going to have to be a custom builder that specializes in this prcoess or a standard tank manufacturer that offers it on their stock tanks...

Good luck on the hunt :)

Lmao.... Jodinop your so correct......
All I can say is if you want CHEAPER buy it used... Craigslist and for sale threads on here and other sites is your best place.. Sometimes eBay has a few from time to time..I just bought one from a fellow reefer on reef central.. Wasn't cheap but fairly priced..

I have a 60" custom with 2" rounded corners.
It should have been 3/8" thick acrylic
it has 1/4" and it bows 1/4" in the center. Maybe that was 1/8" each side
I don't remember, that was my 1st water test early this year.
Cost was over $950. I will not go with Tenecor ever again. They cannot even
make an educated GUESS as to what foam board to use underneath it, since
it has warped on the bottom during dry dock unused.
Sold through fishtanksdirect.com, I'm very disappointed with both.
I do like the black acrylic back and black over sized overflow with 3 returns.
No painting pealing here.

If you ever get a used one. Be positive no silicone has been or will be
used to form an overflow or any other component within. It does not hold up
forever. But Weld-On does.

see kwdelre's video build, he went with an acrylic company he is very satisfied with
