so i got a canopy with the stand to my 75. Well it's designed to fit a tank thats 24" wide. I could move the wood where it rests, but found that the space between the top of the canopy where the tank would be is 6". My reflectors are 6" tall... This sounds like the halides will be too close to the water. right?

so it looks like i need to find a new canopy... will it be difficult to build one? or is there someone close to my area that could help me build?? i have no tools suited for this kind of a project

can you add 6-8" pc of wood to the bottom of the hood to keep it 10-12" off the water?
