Yeah, in everything I've seen about them you can tell that they are made of lower quality materials than the more expensive ones, but I was thinkning that maybe they might turn out to be a good product despite the lower quality materials. After all people have loved the super skimmers, maybe the calcium reactors might gain some popularity as well.
OK, I did some searching on "The other forum" and the general concensus was that they worked quite well but are made of lower quality materials compared to the others. From what I read comparing these to the more expensive brands is like comparing a super skimmer to the higher brands, you get not quite as good results but as such a lower price that it's still well worth it. I may just buy one and give it a try, I don't need one yet but I am planning on setting up more towards corals and clams in the near future.
