Bubbles aren't the worst thing to have in a tank, but they can irritate coral, and splashing causes salt creep, plus it makes it difficult to view the tank. I would say that any bubbles are too many. Can you eliminate them?
Do you have any circulation pumps or wave makers running? That looks like a wave maker mounted too close to the top of the tank and sucking in air from the surface. I noticed that when I fired up my larger wave maker the first time and it filled the tank with bubbles.
