Im horrible...I am cycling a 100 gallon tank one rock at a time. They are very exspensive to set up. Anyhow I got two live rocks the other day and found them infested with bristle worms, so many I couldnt possibly trap them all. Well since bacteria will grow back I made a drastic decision. I boiled my rocks..No more bristle worms

yea that is crazy, i got a ton of them in my tank, they don't bother anything and they clean your tank, why do you want to get rid of them? like he said how are you cleaning your tank if your afraid of getting stung?

I have a few and they never seem to bother anything. Have heard they can go after food in a nem, but that too has not been an issue. I vote to keep. When I see them they always tend to be where detritus settles.
