These guy were so tiny and still pretty small but growing. In the 37 gallon with under gravel filter and crushed coral. I finally did a 10 percent water change. First in about eight months. This was a seahorse tank before the clowns.

Happy looking little devils. I would be telling people they are baby orcas. Thanks Vinnie.

Lol Rick.
I can say these are my most expensive fish I have. Kristine picked them out.
One thing I can say is that they sell fish too early and I imagine the survival rate is low. These guys were so tiny when purchased. Feeding was a challenge.

I don't have much experience in the hobby but it seems clown fish are the current hot commodity. They seem to be coming out with new variations much the same as dog breeders mixing breeds. Labradoodle is the one that started it, now we have all kinds of designer breeds. Doesn't make them any less cool, just seems to be where the industry is focusing.

Yeah . They been breeding designer clowns for quite a few years now. I have to say they aren’t my favorite fish the designer clowns. But these guys are pretty.

got really popular to breed variants when they were getting $3000 a fish for some.
don’t understand paying that for a fish that would be killed in the wild or not allowed to breed.

They do have some spectacular colors. Clowns are calming to watch them swim.

Koi are also extremely expensive. I think I paid $60.00 for my gold koi when it was 5" long. It is about 17" long now & would be a few hundred dollars if not more. For a carp. Darn it though, they really are a pet more than they are a fish. I don't think I would sell now. I saw one sold for 1.8 million, if someone offers that I'd have to think about it.

Thats a purdy fish!
They are pretty. They were a pain feeding when we first got them. I think they sell them too soon nowadays.

How have you been Robert? Been awhile.
