okay so I have a clarkii clown with an anenomoe and today i was naughty and brought home another clown(same type). FOrtunatley they get along, however the small one who was already there changed his color that matches the new clown. he was dark, but now he is a more lighter paler color. why is this?

Not sure, but I got two percs together and one of them has become a darker color as it took the role of female... I'm assuming hte dominant (female) fish takes the darker color...

When we moved our True Perc. from our 10G nano to our new 75G tank, he was all over the place. He found some a new shrimp, and went down had one cornered, and then he would sink to the bottom on his side, and act dead! Then he'd jump up and swim at the shrimp once he came closer. Sucker was having a blast I'd say!

He would also have fun when I put the net in the tank, I'd have to play with him for a few moments, catch him with the net, swish him around and let him out... over and over. I had a perverted fish.

He died however, as the 75G cycled, he was the one causuallity.
:(

I hope to find another True Perc. with just as much attitude. (Let's not also mention the many trips he had made through the HOB overflow and through the tubes. We'd call it FISH Disney. )

My large female maroon clown was alot darker than the small male!! I finally took the female back to the LFS after the male up and disappeared but only because she kept fanning my DSB and causing alot of sand storms in my tank. Storms are good but not that many!
