so im in the process of gathering supplies for my first reef tank. I have a 30 gallon long. What is a good HOB filter? im not going to build a sump and have heard i can get away with just a good HOB, live rock and some powerheads.
ReefOctopus Bh1000, is what I have and it works great. You're right on the cusp of just getting by with water changes but if you have a large bio-load this is what I'd reccomend
