Petsmart has the cheapest locally. I guess it all depends on where you live. If you order online I'm sure it will be difficult to beat the 49$ at patsmart, because of shipping charges. I'm talking about the 200 gallon size.

hmmmm, That Pet Place,,,Dr Foster/Smith,,,,PetSmart.com(sometimes they have free shipping,even on salt!)
pretty much gotta look around,shipping murder on salt,,
myself, Petsmart used to be the best price,,,til they "wised" up and upped the price to equal to everywhere else,,
gotta add it up to see if on-line is cheaper than the LFS

Ditto on Scott's post. my Petsmart used to have 200g of IO at $29.99, and with my discount,,,,
heck , some of the BIG places by me used to get it there too(Harbor),cuz it was cheaper than wholesale,,,

i used to get mine at petsmart for $29 a bucket too...

until junzoo started buyin the place out everytime he walked in the door...

i paid $50 a bucket a couple weeks ago there...

Many of our LFS around here sell a box (3-50gal bags) for $30. I know that is not much help to you but it is possible to find around you I am sure.
