Good mawnin’, Hack, Vinnie, and all of TRT!

Thanks for the coffee and cinnamon raisin toast, Hack! I’ll add huge muffins, PB, Nanners, and local strawberries.

I hope your day at work is smooth. Are you going to pop by the Sam’s house on the way home today? Picture is a great looking house. Love the wooded lot.

Vinnie, oh yeah, the price of that kind of boat that Kristine likes might give her a bit of sticker shock.

we had some thunderstorms last night, and we might get some this afternoon. Currently at 63 and will climb up to 82. Yikes!

lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone!

Mornin all! That is a great looking house! Beautiful lot too. You are right Vinnie, I am liking the garage as well. A fella could get into all sorts of trouble given that much space.

Thunder storms are great this time of year. Well, actually i like them any time. The lightning converts the nitrogen and the rain water is basically fertilized. Everything grows like crazy after a good rumbler.

Amazing garages. Going to need to start with at least a dozen LED strip lights, several sheets of pegboard, a heater, welder outlets...........

Good Mornin Gang, weather looks same as yesterday and the week before that but we have warm in the future. Busy day at work yesterday, crazy for a sunday. Cant wait to see how today plays out.
Hack I also agree with the house and garage comments. No such thing as too much garage, they can work as a bedroom in a pinch but garage stuff in a bedroom is a no no.
Bummer on the nasty weather back there, its only annoying here

To me the garage is the most important part of the home. Kristine can have what ever she wants so long as I’m ok with the garage.
Here in south Louisiana carports are the big thing. In our neighborhood only a few garages . The rest are carports. Never owned a home without a garage.

The house Michele and I live in is a hundred years old. The bathroom was installed later on as an afterthought in the basement.

The garage is bombed out with a collapsing roof that leaks. My toolbox is in our dining room along with the spare refrigerator. Sounds like a mess but for 850 bucks a month it is cheap rent these days. Decent yard and area to work on cars though in the driveway. Can't do that in an apartment.

Just gone done rebuilding a contraption with lots of pulleys and belts. Of course some idiot didn't check to see if the little square key that holds the pulley onto the shaft without spinning was there. Had to order more bar stock, make a key then do all the shafts and pulleys again. At least I ordered decent pry bars last week.

Hey Gang....Home safe from the creek. Was a 'full day'.

'Smooth', ......well, sorta, kinda,,,,,,not really....

Boat Motor vehicle Vehicle Mode of transport Sky

Does anyone see the problem with this picture?

There was a small sail boat in front of these boats I was backing my travel lift over......the boss was guiding me, as well as my head ALWAYS ON A SWIVEL up there......and we both heard a CRASH! The lift STOPS instantly, and we both looked around.....We saw that center boat in the picture had fallen over. I was no closer than 4' to it! Best guess the weight of the lift had an effect on the ground right there, and caused it to 'shift'? No signs of trenches of gullies, only a boat that just decided to take a nap?

So in between our other jobs today, we had to get it up on a trailer and drag it out far enough to load it in the lift. Precarious at best, but all involved were safe. We did similar in the aftermath of Sandy X 16 boats.

Hot dogs for dinner, and ohhhhh Lordy, I am sooooooo hot dog'd out! For now!😁

THANKS Everyone for the nice comments on the Kid's build.
One of this 3 bays is Mr. Sam's 'workshop', and the other 2 more car related.
Their home is situated in the middle of a 10 acre spread, and is indeed in the woods.......predominantly Black Oak, and seem to be rather infested with wild turkeys.

Peace and something groovy along the lines of desert,

Good evening!

Hack- WOWZER! That’s a pretty scary situation with that little boat listing to one side towards a big boat. Especially when you compare it to hurricane Sandy clean-up.

How close is the Sam’s new house to the ocean? Seems like the trees around their house would be some good protection in hurricane type wind when it comes.

Doug, i’m sorry to hear that you had such a difficult day today. I hope you can get some relaxation in tonight for ordering day tomorrow.

Let’s make it a groovy night tonight, complete with good shut-eye.

Evening all,
Got the call from Sis when middle son’s Subaru WRX STI yadda yadda would not crank over ,,, nephew is on vacation in England and Ireland and asked Sis to start the car once in a while in his absence ( bit my tongue on a vehicle being just fine sitting for 2 weeks 🙄) Loaded tested the battery “4 % healthy” ,, even after a charge and showing “fully charged “ and 13.8volts ,,, yanked the old one, got a new one ,, installed and of course 🤔😉, had to test drive it , heheh. Texted my nephew saying the YouTube video of his car clouded by tire smoke would be up shortly , haha.
Yeah, I behaved 👍🏼, but did go thru a couple gears with a heavy foot .

Since I was nearby , I stopped at my Buddy’s place to catch up in person ,,, just got home to let the dawgs out ( they were nose’d into me wanting to k ow about the “other dogs” they smelled on me,,, had to confess I was with Sis’s dogs,,,,, )

On to the evening ,

Hope everyone had a great day👍🏼

Jeff - Hahaha! That is your genetic responsibility to test, drive your nephew’s new car and make sure the batteries are working properly. 😉

How are your doggies, especially your puppies?
