What do you guys use for ATO? can I just run a line after my DI unit right into the sump? or do you need a separate container prior to the sump that is a collection tank of fresh water to feed the sump.

this is the unit I am interested in. I believe this unit is only the controller then you have to buy a separate pump, lines, clips to hold the line, etc...any thoughts are appreciated..

the easiest way i think is to grab an extra jug. place it undere tank somewhere and place a lil pump in it and hook it up to the device. Do not run your ro unit to it... Too much can go wrong. I just fill my 5g jug every 4 days or so. Works great. You can also use the Aqualifter for a pump. If so, it can also double as a kalk pump.

In the past I had my RO/DI connected to an ice maker water valve that flowed into the sump. The valve was turned on and off by a simple float switch.

I used a float switch from Grainger, part number 2A554.
