They have some at petco but the head is still orange. The rest is black and white.

Vince, I don't think the specimens pictured are A. ocellaris. ORA black ocellaris look different, and yes some have a bit of orange left.

I'm trying to find the specie pictured but fishbase.org isn't being cooperative today...

OK I stand corrected...sorta.

They are A. ocellaris, however they are the Australian variety. All black with white stripes. They are different from the A. ocellaris from ORA.

And in further research, I'm finding several discrepancies...

Some list them as A. ocellaris, others list them as A. percula... "Black Onyx" variety.

Now I'm confused too ;)

Well, here we have ethnically diverse Nemos ;)

I have an ORA black ocellaris in a display on the counter (12g cube) and he's a great conversation piece!
