If you have a condii anenome, maybe you can help. I have one and he's quite large. I'd say he probably takes up 12" circle as tents. sweep about. I am having trouble finding him a close neighbor. I would like to know what I can put near him that wont adversly effect either one. I am game for anything....LPS,SPS,Polyps,Softies......anything.

Thanks for your help.

Well, this is what liveaquaria has to say about Condy's:

The Condy Anemone moves around the tank and has a sting that can inflict grave damage to other anemones and corals.
I'm thinking the search for a neighbor could be a futile one...
I believe Jeremy1973 has Condy's... maybe he'll chime in with a suggestion.

Nicole, 12" is a good size and quite normal. I've never been able to find a suitable neighbor either though. One good thing, if they are happy and have stayed in one spot for a while, they usually don't roam much.

And no Adam, they are not throw away animals. Well taken care of, they are really beautiful and long lived. Here's a shot of Helen, she's way over 10 years old and about 18" now.

Well, you could'a had better news for me

OK,OK,ok.....Then I guess its a good thing that hes perched towards the top and hasn't moved in 2 months.
What are the tell tale signs that hes not doing good?

Hmmmm.....well I guess he's destined to be friendless if he kills all his neighbors......just great!

Thanks for all the input

This site rocks with an anenome on top!:D
