I'm in CT but i don't have any of that. sorry no help here
why don't you go to a pet shop and get an eel, Petco/Petsmart usually has them cheap around 20-35 dollars but for a small juvenile you can also ask them to order one for you. i always do this with anything i want. i ask and they order.
Where are u in CT?

Hey guys,

Another guy from CT here (East Haddam, or as I like to call it East Nowhere). There are a few good shops in CT you should check out, Fin and Feathers in Groton, Puppy Center in West Hartford and Exotic Fish in Milford come to mind. Also AquaDreams in Feeding Hills Mass is a good one.

Also I am not sure if you know this or not, but we have a good reef club as well (ctars.org). They have monthly meetings accross the state and have a big conference coming up in April at the Mohegan Sun Casino (Anthony Calfo, Steven Pro and Christine Williams are speaking). Should be a great one day conference.

If you are looking in the southwest corner, have you looked at House of Fins or Greenwich Aquaria?

And yes, CT has a club. Not big, maybe 200 members that gets together monthly to trade frags, provides education, puts together group buys and is working to protect the environment by starting up a metal halide recycling program. They also do a couple of neet things like tank tours, going to New England Aquarium, going to Project O and support a couple of local schools / marine biology programs.

hans1976 is the pres of CTARS and the main person getting the conference put together (and doing a great job at both).

I can't make the Feb. meeting unfortunately (will be at the in-laws), but will be at the March meeting in Storrs along with the April conference (can't wait for that!!!).

There are two other stores you may want to check out...Magic Pets in Wethersfield, CT (860) 563-3836 and Go Fish in Clinton. I guess Magic Pets is just getting back into saltwater. I haven't been to either, but have heard fairly good things about them.

Mohegan Sun is 3 meetings from now.

The next meeting is at The Lutz Childrens Museum on 2/16. In March, we are at the Marine Biology program @ E.O. Smith High School for a Frag Farmer event on 3/14. The Mohegan Sun is in April.

If you are going to that, you should buy your tickets ahead of time. They are only $10 for General Admission through the end of Feb.

If you wait to get them at the door, they will be either $20 or $25.
