Hi, Im looking for a person who would be nice enough to house my small mandarin for a few months. I just got one in my tank and just recently found out that its not good to put one in a new tank since he will starve.

So if anyone from around madison would be nice enough to house him for a few months for me that would be highly appreciated.

thanks

Good move. And good luck finding a temporary host. Your biggest problem may be getting the fish back later. ;)

Ya maybe able to buy some pods and kinda kick start things a bit. How old is the tank?

Question to the senior reefers, bad idea tossing more pods in early?

I can see some die off but cant really see it troubling the cycle.

I'm in Waukesha but unfortunately I really don't have much of a pod population. If you have that Mandy in a 20gal tank your gonna have a tough time keeping him fed properly. You may want to try to contact someone in the Wisconsin Reef Society to see if they can babysit for you until you can get a good pod population built up.
