Hi Gang! I did a real stupid OFR thing last night. I put a small piece of LR on the middle glass on top of my tank while I moved a coral to another spot and forgot all about the zoo's on top of the glass!:( This morning the MH lights and PC lights came on and about 3 hrs later I was checking my tank and noticed the zoo's missing and looked all over my tank and then it hit me!

I did not want to look but did and there was the piece of LR and the zoo's were mostly dried up and hard! I was surprised they were totally cooked! Anyway I put them in the tank high up under a 250ww MH light and low and behold there are about six polyps so far have returned to their normal self! Unbelieveable! Here is a pic of the zoo's right after I discovered them and put them in the tank and will take another pix tomorrow and see how many more open up!

Glad you realized it!

We forget that some of these critters have rough times in their natural habitats... When we were in Mexico, we saw huge zoanthid colonies that were completely out of the water at low tide, and they were thriving. Amazing creatures!

Looks like more are opening up! Simply amazing! On top of the glass all night long and 3 hrs under MH lights before being placed back into the aquarium! This should be proof that we should never give up on our inhabitants! Will post a pic tomorrow and see how they have progressed!:)
