Good morning Y'All, and HAPPY TUESDAY!
Ain't sure yet if'n I get to go play in the rain and cold, or climb back under my blanky and hug my soft pillow yet......rain n wind......but......I'll call my cohort at 8a that's gonna check the store for us.

Coffee is good, and Jewish Apple cake is gooder.

Hope All are safe and comfy,

Christmas ornaments, and displays! ALREADY.......not even beating the turkey this year, they're beating the Great Pumpkin! 1st week in October, and setting up for Christmas!

Good mawnin’, Hack all of TRT!

Hack - Thanks so much for the coffee and Jewish apple cake. How appropriate I will add slices of cheese bagels of all flavors, making sure that the everything bagel does not touch my nothing on it bagel.😂. Nanners are also on the table.
Since it looks like you’re still active, I’m guessing your cohort says it’s your point coming to work. That’s a good idea to have somebody like that be on the lookout for you, rather than you having to go in and find out.

Christmas decorations are already out at Walmart! That is so wrong.

Vinnie, that food looks delicious! No wonder Christine is so happy with it. By the way, what’s what’s the mountain range in one of those photos you posted yesterday?

Doug, it’s no wonder you were emotionally exhausted yesterday. It’s rough to see your friend destroy himself.😣 I hope he can get some long-term help.

It’s a little cool here today at 49 and will climb up to 71 with clear skies. As part of our Active Aging Week, I’m going to an event that will be discussing the 1960s with local college students. That should be interesting.

Lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone!

Good morning Dear! We got 47 heading to 57F under wet and windy skies.

Yeah 'blanky and pillow' win the day again......shucks!

Can you begin to imagine the contrast between the college students reference points between the 60's and the 2020's.....would almost be like trying to find a reference point with 'First contact'. 'INTERESTING'? OK, you win understatement of the day.......YEAR AWARD!

Yikes, Doug! I hope you didn’t have to enter things in by hand. Been there done that at the library. And it’s not fun when you’re busy.

Our meeting with these 15 college seniors was lots of fun. We talked about what the 60s meant to us. The residents of this retirement community ranged in ages from somewhere in the 60s to pushing 90. After we talked about the 60s, we had some fun activities for the college seniors to try to figure out: Reading a clock with Roman numerals, reading a paper roadmap, how to use a rotary dial phone, identifying a flower sifter (that was easily identified). And then us old folks had to figure out some things. So we had a lot of fun.

Afternoon all,

Spent my useful part of the day re-organizing the garage space for the Mercury,,,, not 100% done but pleased with what I got done with so far. Although I got everything out of the space, some stuff had to come back in (old radios I planned on taking to the basement and a bunch of empty boxes saved for auction trip stuff)

Just got off the phone with the old car insurance place dad had used some ‘75 or so, could not “transfer” the policy over , so ended up getting a new policy made up in my name. Somehow the premium was less than what dad was paying ( and I included collision and towing 🤷🏻‍♂️) Not complaining😉.
Sent em current pics of the car, went over and approved /e-signed the application,,,next to wait on coverage confirmation to continue with getting title n plates ,,, then get the ol’ red gal trailered home.

Making up for being out of the house for the dawgs n boids until now,,, don’t look like they mind , heheh.

Om to the rest of the day,

Hope everyone is having a great one👍🏼

Jeff, that sounds like a good day’s work. I’m surprised they didn’t charge you more for the insurance because it’s a classic car. But what do I know?
How are all your doggies and your birds doing?

Do I have too :( but I will look
It should hit you in the face when you’re at Walmart. I’m totally disgusted with pushing season like that.

Well Cath, its a antique/classic only car insurance place. Not used as primary/every day driver, to car shows/ cruise nights/ pleasure drive sort of stuff .
So pricing is not up there with every day driver types. She asked my expected annual mileage, told her next to none the remainder of this “season” and prob not over a couple hundred miles come spring ( will update that part if/when I put on more miles .

Dogs and parrots are fine ,,,, just another crazy n fun day here. I saw 6 week old GSD puppy pics of the litter I was hoping to get in on, from the breeder. Not a big litter and was 3rd pick for only 2 males so I missed out. But that puts me as #1 pick for the upcoming litter said to get things going in a bit .
But the pics I saw of these pups were SO darn cute , and hoping the cute /cool pup factor continues for then”winter” litter🤞🏻.

On to the evening,

Carry on TRTrs 👍🏼

I get that Classic Car thing, one of coworkers a few years ago had a CSX serialed Cobra Roadster, that the original engine was out getting restores to factory spec, while that project was going on he dropped a 4.6L ( i think( out of 97 Stang and they still wanted BIG BLOCK -HI PO prices to have it sit in garage
