THAT my Friends made the ole teeth chatter!
Look both ways HECK....it was revolving a mile a second!

Anyway, hope Everyone's OK, and it's safe to cross the road now. A nice looking day is promised to be far superior to yesterday's wash out.

Our PLAN A is to head to the Sams' this morning, for a day in their yard.....raking, seeding, and haying to begin the process of a pretty yard.

Maybe another cup of joe first,

Good morning Hack and all ,
Presley in Cooper spent the night last night, so I’m up early and sitting out side, drinking my coffee.
It’s a beautiful morning, checking on the bluegill the only seem really active in the early morning hours, other then that only sits in one spot.
Jacob and Gabi I’m driving down to Grand Isle to do some of the banks fishing. No I didn’t let them take a boat. Not that I don’t trust Jacob, but he is more of a risk taker at times. It one thing if I damage it. I will deal with it and get it fixed , Jacob and Gabi aren’t financially in a place to do the same.. I grew up and never got to drive my dad’s car. It’s was always. You want it go to work and get earn it. Don’t have enough money, work harder.

Top of the morning Vinnie! Coffee on the veranda sounds like a winner, it's in the mid 50's here at the moment, and not so appealing to go out there and DO NOTHING yet.

I'll always consider myself a 'fresh water' fisherman myself, but seldom have the opportunity any more......bet it's been 5 years since I last did with my younger Brother on a rare occasion. And it was 'bank' fishing......gone are the days of a 'jon boat' with an electric motor on the local reservoir or lake. Once upon a time you could catch Him and me out there 3-4 evenings a week.
Trying to edge Nate into being bitten by THAT bug......our few attempts so far has left Him feeling 'bored'.

Good mawnin’’, Hack, Vinnie, and all of TRT!

thanks for the coffee, Hack. You probably have breakfast planned in your mind, but I’m going to like put out some goodies starting with big muffins, toasted, English muffins, eggs, over easy, hashbrowns, and a fruit cup.

Hack - Have fun over the Sams’ today. Sounds like a good time for everybody!

Vinnie, it’s great to hear how you’re teaching Jacob and Gabi about the value of not using somebody else’s boat or riding somebody’s bicycle or playing somebody’s instrument unless you can pay for its repair if it gets broken. That’s pretty much the way we were raised.

This afternoon I’m going to a dance recital. One of my friends has been taking tapdancing, so a few of us are going to watch her perform. Tonight I have a book discussion with college friends.

Everyone make it a groovy day!

Lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone!

Morenin Fellas & all who wander in later. Got the payroll done & will head up out of my hole here in the basement looking for some coffee. 52F this morning and sunny & 72 later. May be a good day to head home and sit by the pond with the pups.

My BIL headed up to his cabin in Quebec yesterday. That is the only time I really fish anymore, occaisionally i hitch a ride with a friend & we fish for bass or walleye in the upper Niagara. I used to fish almost daily till I went to college. I've never fished salt water.

Mornin Cath, very cool that you still get together with college friends! Enjoy your afternoon.

Ya get to do some pretty cool stuff Cath (y)
Pretty sure our breakfast involves 'leaving a tip' afterwards on our way to the Sams.

Rick hope you get a quick out so you can get to 'nothing'. (y)
use to 'back bay fish with my Dad as a kid.....flounder, weakies, and 'junk fish'. Working at the shore Saltwater fishing is all you hear......I plead ignorance and IGNORE!
But I got hooked, pardon the fishing parlance, as a young man, and long lazy days on the quiet surreal back waters meandering through the woods, drifting aimlessly had an appeal all it's own. Large Mouth, Chain Pickerel, and Channel Cats made it all worth the money.

Good afternoon, Rick, Hack, and Doug.

Rick, my College group does our book discussion via GoogleMeet because we live all over the place. We used to use Skype, but that is a terrible format. It was really tricky when we first started this more than 15 years ago because one woman lived in the Seattle area and another woman lived in Germany, so we had to really play with the time zones. Now we all live in the same time zone, which is EDT.

How does Victoria Day affect your hotel? I heard something about Victoria Day on the radio on the way to church this morning.

Hack, you sound like you’re gearing up towards an another food thread with your talk about the various fish that you caught over the years. The food thread doesn’t take much work around here, especially with the food you cook up over the weekend.

Doug what are your plans for the rest of your day?

tomorrow is a big day around here. Spartanburg is the starting point for what is called a
Assault on Mount Mitchell. Check out this site, especially look at the safety regulations by clicking on a link. It is pretty strict, and it needs to be.https://www.theassaults.com/assault-on-mt-mitchell/

That’s it for now. I hope to check in a little bit later.

Afternoon all,
Back from a am effort at mom’s ,,, tween me and sis , got a decent amount of stuff done .
Sis came n got me and asked if I had a “saw” in the truck ( did happen to have a cordless Sawzall for a few jobs outside at mom’s ) she said a neighbor lady was cutting , or trying to cut, a small evergreen down , and with a wimpy saw , she was not making great progress . I went over and de-limb’d the tree and said I will bring my chain saw on Thursday to take down the trunk . Sis said I earned my good deed for the day 🤷🏻‍♂️👍🏼.

Might fill the kiddie pool up and let Nash do his thing ,,,, but first a shower and reboot.

Hope everyone is having a great day 👍🏼

Jeff - Way to go on doing yard work at your mom’s house and helping your sis’s neighbor.

Vinnie, great photo of Jacob, holding up a fish that he caught. What kind of fish? Love that photo of Presley and Cooper! They are cute kids

At first, I thought that your comment was another food thread entry. Sorry about the bad vibes for taking care of another problem with your roommate’s car.

Make it a groovy evening, everyone!
