Top of a not bad looking day, and HAPPY THURSDAY TO EVERYONE!
30 heading to 50F....and dry. Well windy, yeah....but dry and not freezing....well, eventually.

Coffee is up, and breakfast....CIBMC, BUT there are doughnuts, danish and cinnamon buns out there.

Looks like today may be the last of the 'doable work days' this week, as tomorrow rains begin to move in, as well as the winds begin to grow again.

Hope something really groovy awaits All today,
Hack

Morning all,
Seeing a pattern with early wake ups with certain dawgs lately,,, wonder if my payback is poking em when they doze off during the day ,, keep the younguns awake so they sleep better/longer at nite ,, sigh.

Youngest nephew’s 21st B-day went nice last night . I did my usual complaining in jest over how they are fibbing on their age since no way the three of em could all be 21 and up … I’m not aging, so they can’t either 🤔🤷🏻‍♂️🥴😂.
Grub was good,, $15 cheeseburger is what it is ,,, I went with that, the others had food with foo foo twists .
A leprechaun came in ( made the rounds of the local food/beer/whiskey restaurants ) to interact with the kids ( in the food places of course heheh) when he came to our table I shook the nice older fella inna leprechaun costume and threw my nephew under the bus saying it was his 21st birthday . It worked , haha. Pics below ( I’m the one that is not young or dressed in green😉)

Job this morning is to spa day up two certain young pups,,, the older one did not have a fire hydrant or tree in his crate when I was gone ( 3-4 hrs tops) last evening,, so a bath is in order after coffee . Right now Murphy and Nash are playing like two chuckleheaded pups,, cuz that’s what they are .

Hope everyone has a great day! Hat Smile Costume hat Sun hat Happy

Morning everyone. Sounds like the day is off and running. Once you get the night time routine settled you can get some rest Jeff. Until then it is a fantastic opportunity for afternoon dog naps.

We are told to expect 6" of snow up here tomorrow Hack. We will see.

Have fun at your meeting Cath. Talk to you later.

😂😂 my sentence was supposed to say I will “comment on” the posts later. I have corrected it for accuracy.😉
My Weather Guesser app says you’re having rain tomorrow and Monday and big winds Tuesday and Wednesday. I bet you 5¢ your boss will make you come in and turn around.

Jeff, of course you didn’t age as your nephews aged. Neither did your sister. It works out neat that way doesn’t it? Have fun with a beauty parlor with your doggies today.
I can’t remember what this nephew’s plans are in life. Is he a musician?

Doug, I hope you can get in touch with the office that sold you that bad refrigerator. That is absolutely not right! What brand is it? I hope you get compensated for the food and a refrigerator that works.. A friend of mine recently bought a fancy-schmancy GE. The day after it was delivered, the fridge was not working. She got the money back for her ruined food, and another one delivered. The next refrigerator also didn’t work for very long and brought her a loaner. The last refrigerator that she got has worked.

My Civitan meeting went very well. The guest speaker presented a program about Ukrainian Easter eggs.

I’ll be playing Scrabble this afternoon. It’s been too long since I’ve played, so I’m gonna have to really use my thinking cap.

More later!

Late morning all,
Cath, youngest nephew is with “Chromium Winds” ( shame on me not knowing the term of what the band is ,, think performance college band stuff)
He did go to college for music /teaching but found out it was not what he wanted . He went into Army National Guard,,, wanted to do K9 handler ( hmm 😉) but was low/late on getting it.
He is currently back with Chromium, filling in a tuba position, along with helping other school bands in a multi state area.

Jeff - Good for your nephew doing what he’s doing! That sounds really exciting. It doesn’t hurt that he has a degree in music education, it will add to his skills. He will find his way.

Doug, that really stinks about your refrigerator. I hope you can get some satisfaction with it being repaired or replaced at no charge. And bummer about this troubles getting Furgee spayed.

Tomorrow morning I will be having coffee and breakfast with friends. After that I’m gonna pop by the library and check out a copy of Blade Runner, the final cut. A friend was horrified that I have never seen it. So that means I need to see it.

Blade runner was definitely a great film, it would’ve been a whole lot better if I didn’t have to stand up against ET. I probably seen it 20 times. I don’t like the Directors cut format with the black on top and bottom you don’t get the full screen. But you do have to pay attention is a lot of stuff going on and if you’re not you’ll miss.

Vinnie, thanks so much for your take on Blade Runner. I appreciate your suggestions on how to watch it and get the full advantage of it. Now I need to find my DVD player.😂

I saw the Original in Theater and them i watched the Directors cut. It was all right but my favorite, esp up against Alien or Predator.
I got a call back from the lasy that runs JoCo spay, we got a plan together, Its going to cost $175 (half what my regular vet charges) which is cool but I get the shots and meds and preop exam is free. Still waiting on frig people. The Fire/Rescue is participating in a multi dept Chili Cook Off 3-5pm which I have to go photo shoot.
Weather is better but still wet and breezy :(

Doug, that sounds like a great price for Furgee’s care.
Argggh with the fridge repaire!

Hope you get to have some of that chili. That would certainly warm you up with the nasty weather you have.

Not sure if I mentioned last night, Chili was good, friend of mine got best so he gets to represent in Regional comp. It was great, not to sweet but just right, just a touch of subtle heat but not scorching, second place was real similar. The other 4 were heavy on the heat but not so much the pepper flavor. On was more like refried beens witha touch of scorch, buzz kill.
Yah price after all is said and done going through the HOP clinic is 175 as opposed to $350 at her regular vet, and that does not cover the pre op exam and all her doggie shots abd rabied vax. It would be over $500 there
