A coin toss between sitting on my butt, or any other part of my anatomy that is comfy doing so, and getting out there and doing something....ANYTHING? Nate's working today....yeah, I feel like a schlump!
If Jen doesn't want to go out looking for excitement, I'll in all actuality probably hit my gun shop.....LOTS happening out there.

Thanks for the coffee, my good friend. In support of Nash becoming part of Jeff’s pack of dogs, I think we ought to have buttermilk pancakes today. We have a lot of celebrating to do, and I think pancakes would do it. There’s plain pancakes, and my recipe for blueberry pancakes. It is outstanding. Either way, we have Canadian real maple syrup heated up so it won’t cool off your pancakes, and I bet as soft as pancakes are, that even Vinnie can have some.

Hack, have fun in your gun shop! I know you can spend a long time working on that and figuring out how to fix guns. Have at it!

Vinnie, thank you so much for offering that recording of Jo Stafford singing “ You belong to me.” It’s real treat to hear her sing.

Doug - did you end up having to do that Night Shift on Thursday, or was that last night? I hope your colleagues didn’t have trouble with wintry weather on their drive.

Jeff, I bet your house is all in the excitement mode with your other doggies. I’m sure they feel your excitement. Hope the roads are safe for driving this afternoon.

We sure did get a wallop of wind and rain last night. Even the city siren came on. That means that the Friday night shift at the library had to get everybody to the lowest level and in a secure area. That wouldn’t be so hard on a Friday night, but some other times during the day it’s a challenge.

Coffee and oatmeat for this snow covered now iced up , AM.

No Hack, not there yet , heheh. Another 5-6 hrs before I head south to go to GSD Nirvana,,, already warned the breeder they will prob have to call the law personnel to remove me from all dem German Shepherds🥰😍🥰😍🥰, since I won’t wanna leave .
Well, the wet n slush under the snow that came down yesterday is now ICE pet safe de-icee applied to what walking surfaces I de-slushed yesterday,,, the rest I’m hoping will be tended to with above freezing temps later today.

Super foggy as the morning progressed,,, not surprising after the bunch of moisture on da ground .

Road conditions look decent south of me , the recent snow stayed at my vicinity and north .Just means no concerns on driving to get Nash later today 👍🏼.

Saw on FB that Cades Cove got 97 MPH winds yesterday… that had to be a wild time ( imagine they closed Fish Daddy’s fav spot because of that ). I’ve been there when a storm was coming in, nothing to those levels , but was still a eye opener to evac that day.

On to the day, with whatever I plan on doing to kill time before I get my new pup,, heheh.

Mornin all. The snow didn’t amount to much. We got a couple inches last night then it turned to heavy rain. A few flurries passed through this morning and the result is 2” of slush with half an inch of snow on top. It is a mess.

Bright side is the rain filled my pond.

Just toasted up an Everything bagel for Jen, and asked if it was toasted enough.....told Her I could 'make it cookeder' for Her if'n not. Yeah, Webster would just pass us by shaking his head.

Which leads us to.....there's fresh Everything and Blueberry bagels to pass around. Actually they're not 'Everything bagel with blueberries on top, but rather there's Everything bagels as well as there's some Blueberry bagels as well. 😁
Semantics are soooooo under rated and misunderstood........and in this here present 'culture', soooooo important.
